OUR SERVICES Thank you for choosing the Collier County Health Department. Our mission is promoting and protecting good health in all of Collier County. We are here for you. This page is to explain how our services are reimbursed. Charges and fees are reduced based on income level. You may qualify for a discount. On your first visit, our eligibility staff will determine what your portion of the fee should be. We do not refuse anyone due to the inability to pay. If you are coming for care, please do not feel that you will be refused services for lack of money. That is not our intention. Any fees collected are reinvested so we can continue providing services locally in our health department. SELF PAY If you do not have Medicaid or Private Insurance the amount you pay will be based on your income. We will work with you to resolve this balance. It is possible that you may qualify for Medicaid or other programs. We will not refuse care to you. We are here to help you. INSURANCE/MEDICARE We accept private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Our services are covered except for your deductible and co payment. The part that you have to pay could be reduced based on your income. If you have qualified for Florida Medicaid, your fees are reimbursed by Medicaid as long as your Medicaid is in effect at the time of service. Our health department provides clinical services for: Immunizations, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Refugee health, and basic dental care.
